This website is a tribute to Acharya Vishwanath Rao Ringe ‘Tanarang’ of the Gwalior Gharana, who dedicated his life to Hindustani Classical Music. A legendary composer, he created over 1,800 Bandishen across approximately 200 Raagas. Every Bandish featured on our website is a reflection of his musical genius, written and composed by Acharya Tanarang himself.
We have compiled the Bandishen composed by Acharya Tanarang into three volumes of books, preserving his invaluable contributions to Hindustani Classical Music.
Our first book, “Acharya Tanarang ki Bandishen Vol 1” provides a detailed analysis of 31 Raagas and features 389 melodious Bandishen.
Our second book, “Acharya Tanarang ki Bandishen Vol 2“ offers an in-depth explanation of 31 Raagas along with a collection of 405 Bandishen.
Our third book, “Acharya Tanarang ki Bandishen Vol 3“ is a remarkable collection of 440 Bandishen across 28 Raags.
