Raag Description : Using Komal Nishad in Raag Bilawal makes Raag Alhaiya Bilawal, which produces a pleasing serene atmosphere. However, some refer Raag Bilawal as Raag Alhaiya Bilawal.
The main characteristic of this Raag is Vadi Swar is Dhaivat but it is not a Nyas Swar. The Nyas Swar are Pancham and Gandhar. Komal Nishad (n) is rendered between two Dhaivats like S' N D P ; D n D P. Dhaivat-Gandhar Sangati is important and is Taken in Meend. In Avroh, S' N D P ; D n D P or straight S' N D P m G R S may be taken.
