Raag Pancham Jogeshwari is a variation of Raag Jogeshwari, created by Pt. Ravi Shankar. This variation was imagined by Acharya Tanarang, in which he has used Pancham in Avroh of Raag Jogeshwari. Although, Pancham in avroh is used sparingly and in phrases like these: S G m g S ; G m (P) m g S ; S G m (P) m ; P G m g S ; G m D m G ; G m D n D m G ; G m (P) m g S.
In Avroh, while descending from Dhaivat to Madhyam, Pancham should not be used. Pancham is mostly used as Kan Swar. Pancham is used like: m (P) m or G m P m g S;
The basic framework of the Raag Pancham Jogeshwari remains the same as Raag Jogeshwari with fine blending of Raag Jog in Poorvang and Raag Rageshree in Uttarang. Following combinations are illustrative of the Raag:
