Raag Shobhawari is a very melodious Raag but not much in vogue. This Raag belongs to Asawari Thaat. If we use Komal Dhaivat instead of Dhaivat Shuddha in basic framework of Raag Durga, it becomes Raag Shobhawari.
This is a straightforward Raag and can be expanded in all the three octaves. This Raag has a soothing effect on the atmosphere. Following are the illustrative combinations of Raag Shobhawari:
